Saints & Sinners – Developing relations through camarade during trips and meals together is the goal of this group. They have cruised on a Casino Ship out of Brunswick, eaten at Lady & Sons in Savannah, had Mexican Night Pot Luck, and gone bowling to name a few adventures. Whatever the activity is everyone is assured of having fun and getting to know each other better. Contact persons are the Hyatts.

Episcopal Church Women (ECW) – This group hosts two major community centered events each year – Strawberry Festival in the Spring and Apple Festival in the Fall. They also host other parish and fundraising activities through the year. The contact person is Helen Bryan.

Outreach – Kathie Murphy and Chad Chaffee coordinate the needs that arise from the community. We maintain a small food pantry and also provide clothing, small appliances, and bedding to those in need. Help is also given to individuals needing help with rent, electric and heating/cooling on a case by case basis. Baskets are prepared and delivered at Thanksgiving and Christmas. St. Philip’s also contributes to UTO, ERD, and other ministeries requiring aid. Fr. Carter serves on the Board of the Manna House in Hinesville which meets the needs for food and clothing throughout Liberty County.

Memorial Garden – St. Philip’s has an adjacent memorial garden where many members have the ashes of their loved ones interred or plan to have their own ashes interred in the future. The memorial garden also serves as a quite space to meditate. Lil Shurtleff heads this ministry.
