Parish Activities

The myriad of activities sponsored by St. Philip's include:

Every year the ECW has an Ice Cream Social. The ice cream is home made and the memories are long lasting. The whipped cream is to "die for" we're told.

St. Philip's has been a major supported of Relay for Life for over 14 years. Gail Colbert has successfully lead this effort for many years.Last year we raised over $2000.

This year Thanksgiving dinner was hosted by St. Philip's for families who were alone or who did not have family with whom to celebrate.Christmas baskets were taken to families as well as shoe boxes for needy kids.

Saints and Sinnerss are a group of parishners who have fun outings. These vary from trips to Savannah for dining and a play to bowling.A trip to Sapelo Island to review its history followed by dinner in Darien was an adventure..An annual Board Game and Junk Food Night was held at the Church..

Cursillo - Many members from the parish have made their Cursillo. The photos show the last three from St. Philips to attend.
