Youth Ministry

Christian Education for Youth - Christian Education is offered to all youth during the school year. Education is biblically based to give a firm foundation for Christian decisions and living. Each year Youth are given the opportunity to make a decision to confirm their Baptismal Covenant and given Confirmation instruction.

Acolytes - Youth are also encouraged to serve as Acolytes after the age of 10. They also take an active role in worship as presenters and readers on Youth Sundays.

Episcopal Young Churchpersons (EYC) – Jr. and Sr. High School Students are members of this youth program. They have a number of fun and service events. Some most notable include the annual Scavenger Hunt followed by Game and Movie Night. The Low and High Ropes Courses are another activity to help the youth build Christian teamwork. The last Youth trip was to Charlotte, NC where they viewed the Dead Sea scrolls exhibit and Carowinds. The youth have served during several ethnic dinner nights (Cuban and German) to raise money for outreach and trips. The next youth trip will be in June to a State Park.The EYC advisor is Chad Chaffee
